Looking for advice about areas in Sheffield

We're looking to buy in Sheffield or nearby next year. 140000 max budget. Any ideas of areas we should be looking in?

We've seen some affordable properties in Killamarsh, Waterthorpe, Stocksbridge and High Green. What are those areas like?

I live in Sheffield but I haven't been here long enough to really know what different areas are like. Saying that, I think High Green is nice, quite rural but a long way out of the city. Hopefully someone with more local knowledge will spot this and help you out.
