Did you tip your builder!

We've had a small scale bit of work done - wall knocked through, joist put in, and breakfast bar constructed.
The thought occurred to me about tipping. Never been in this position before.
Have you, do you tip your builders and if so how much?

I would never tip a builder in cash. Their price normally has a healthy profit built in so a cash tip is definitely not appropriate imo. I have bought the workers cakes/lunch the odd time when they were doing a sterling job and a crate of beer on a bank holiday weekend if the job was going well!

You don't tip professional builders. Their price has profit built in.
