Belfast sink or undermounted?

Hi we are looking at getting a shaker kitchen and are considering a Belfast sink or undermounted. Worktop will be Quartz. Haven't ever had a Belfast sink before, are they easy to maintain? Thanks.

We have inherited two and I am not a fan: they wear on the bottom, chip on the edges and if you drop breakable things into them, the things break. You can get stainless steel Belfast sinks though so if you like the style, that's an option. We're replacing the kitchen here and will be going for under mounted stainless steel.

I have a Belfast sink. It has marked quite a lot but I still like it. Mine is set into the worktop and has a ceramic draining board it's all one piece. It does look lovely

you're not having a wooden worktop, are you?
