Anyone know about electrics?

My oven is electric and we had it a few years never had any problems but we moved house a few month back and it worked perfectly fine until last week when it went off in the middle of cooking!! I went into the cupboard and the switch had gone on the box thing.... so I turned it back on and my cooker came back on and it cooked the food.... so then again on Sunday we were cooking a joint of meat and after 10 mins it went off again!! It's the switch on the box again. Why might this be happening?

Something is tripping it

An electrician will be able to sort it quickly

Could be lots of things really - fan or element may need replacing. Sometimes if these are going they trip the switch. Or could be a surge within the wiring. You'll need an electrician to check what's going on.

Your oven could be overloading the circuit. Do you know how many kW the oven is, and what is the size of the circuit breaker that keeps tripping?
