How easy is it to redo a bathroom floor?

Rushed into choosing vinyl for bathroom floor. Bathroom is due to be fitted starting Monday. Vinyl I think is meant to have an off white marble effect but it literally looks dirty and the rest of the bathroom will be brilliant white!

Bathroom fit is part of a loft conversion so time is tight. If I just went with this vinyl for now, how difficult would it be to change it later?

Easy. You can either put new vinyl on top of old, if it's in good condition, or just pull it up and lay new.

Oh good. So you don't have to refit the bath, sink etc?

No. They just cut round them. The vinyl doesn't go under the sanitary ware

So how do you seal the join between the edge of the vinyl / tiles and sanitary wear? Our flooring was fitted first and does go underneath it all.

Think you just run some flexible sanitary ware sealant around?

Yes, sealant.

You can pull up the old vinyl and use it as a template to cut round to fit the new. Easy! Grin
