Plasterboard wall fittings

Can anyone recommend some seriously heavy duty fittings for an oak shelf on a plasterboard wall? The shelf itself is quite heavy and we've used the standard ones in B&Q, but it's listing already.

There must be some that will hold it up. It's on an external wall too by the way.

Thank you!

Ruhrpott Thank you! I'll order some and see if they work. I hate the quality of walls in new build houses!

Just be warned you'll never get them out of the wall again

www.amazon.co.uk/Hanson-03040-Magnetic-Stud-Finder/dp/B000IKK0OI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480805696&sr=8-1&keywords=stud+finder+magnets

This is also great for finding the studs in the plasterboard wall so you can screw things directly into them.
