Just thought I'd share this here in case it was relevant to anyone. The government funding for insulation for people not in receipt of benefits is ending in March. I had a guy come round today to assess our energy wastage and they are going to insulate our loft and do cavity wall for free with a government grant- but this will end in March and it's going to be means tested again. If you have less than 3in of insulation and if you haven't got any cavity wall insulation then you might qualify. Definitely worth a look online if you think it might apply to you!
