Loft conversion of a bungalow

Just had an offer accepted on a 1920s bungalow. We are keen to convert the loft to add two kids bedrooms and a bathroom. Hopefully no dormer needed, i.e. try to fit it all with veluxes.
Please share your examples of bungalow loft conversions. I am interested what you did, how you fitted the stairs and an idea of costs.
Cheers!

I would defo do a dormer if you can... so much better in terms of usable head height for wardrobes and adults.

True, yes, a dormer makes a difference. We did a loft conversion on our current house last year and added a big dormer. I am not sure though how dormers work on bungalows though.
