Room planning app

Can anyone help please? I am trying to find a free app or software which will enable me to enter accurate metric measurements and the actual room outline so I can plan a kitchen.

I thought I had it with easyplanner3d online but it won't let me add the walls I need to to the basic outline. The IKEA one is in imperial and I am thinking squared paper is the way to go now!

Actually I think easy planner does do what I want and I haven't read the instructions properly. Anyway, tips appreciated.

DP has been doing some planning in Sketchup - he seems to have got to grips with it but it gave me the Rage after about 5 minutes.

I read the instructions and found out how to add a corner. Made the world of difference!
