Cost of replacing bathroom in Midlands?

Hello, I wonder whether anyone could let me know how much it has cost them to replace and refresh their whole bathroom, involving moving a sink. Would like to know how much I may be looking at and whether the quotes I've had are reasonable.

I've been told between 10 - 15 grand, which seems a bit much.

However, as well as replacing the bathroom fittings, the sink will need to be moved to another wall (where there is currently no plumbing), whole room re-tiled, a new floor covering, walls replastered and a new ceiling put in (board and plaster ceiling).

It's quite a small bathroom.

If you could please let me know what you had done and what it cost (in Midlands region). Many thanks x

I had one done in the Spring.
Everything went in the same place, but it's a big, spacious bathroom with bath, sink, toilet and sep. shower cubicle (which we bought larger than the old one had been). We had a new heated towel rail. We left the radiator as it was. We replaced tiles with wall panels and we had line on the floor.
All in, was somewhere between £4.5 and £5K (can't remember exactly as we paid diff amounts to diff trades). They supplied everything and co-ordinated the different trades.

We are just at the end of doing 2 (hoping they'll be gone after tomorrow because I no longer want builders in my house)

Each is smallish. One is about 6 square metres and one is slightly smaller. We moved the sink in DS1's bathroom (but used the plumbing from a bidet which was scrapped). Changed the showers from electric to proper showers.

Each has cost about 3k in total but I did a lot of bargain hunting. Having said that the fitters were particularly cheap and with hindsight I'd have preferred to send a little more and have fitters who worked a bit more quickly.

Mine have porcelain marble effect tiles, white painted wainscotting and walnut coloured Karndean. Large sinks with drawers underneath (Ikea Hemnes rattviken with glass knobs added), F&B skylight on walls with some lovely original art prints from eBay artists (DS1 has paintings of puffins and DS2 chose a sleeping fox).

I'm looking forward to getting all the towels etc in to make the rooms look really finished (for about 10 minutes before the DC move in and wreck them).

That does seem a bit high? We're having ours done at the moment which is going to cost about 4.5k - quite a small room which includes moving the Bath (and plumbing), and plaster boarding, tiling etc.

Just to give you an idea of the difference with different quotes. We had the main family bathroom done about 3 years ago.

Quote from bathstore for fitting was £9k. Quote from the fitter we actually used was £2k.

Just paid for mine today. It includes moving a sink and building a separate shower cubicle. Floor tiles, walls half tiled. Plastering. £4.200.

I had quite nice tiles and fittings but a basic shower - in retrospect don't skimp on the shower.

Anyway that came to 6k.

We have done 2 main bathrooms within the last 6 years (due to house move) both needed pipework moving etc and had all floors and walls re-tiled. They cost between£4-5k all-in, I'd definitely go for a local plumber to fit it rather than the Bath Store type places. Get some recommendations from people in the area and look for 3/4 quotes. I have re-fitted many bathrooms for myself. You should be able to get a nice job done for c.£5k.
Im talking nice Chinawere villeroy & Boch and quality brassware like grohe or hasgrohe which will give you quality performance for years to come.
