Who did you use to convert your loft?

Assuming you have converted your loft that is!

I've had 6 companies in: 4 national loft specialists, 1 local specialist and a local builder. I'm leaning towards Econoloft because we need to lower our ceilings and the local companies don't seem keen. The other loft specialists are much more expensive. I'm wondering if I should get more quotes I want it to be cheaper

Hi,haven't had mine done yet but we are going ahead with Econoloft. To be honest 3 out of the 4 quotes were similar (around 36k).
I have requested which team I want as it seems a bit hit and miss which ever company you use. We don't need to lower our ceilings but it seems quite common.
We're in south London and had quotes from south London Lofts,Selcom and Outlook.

My BIL did mine. He did a great job and lowered all my first floor ceilings insulated and installed downlights etc. It came to 32k He was about 15% cheaper than the cheapest quote I had. He's in W14. if you want his number I'd be happy to supply? .
