How do work top materials compare price wise? Is Granite the most expensive?

We're looking at quartz at the moment.
How does that compare to Corian/granite/laminate in terms of price? Anyone know?

Low to high

Laminate
Wood - unless exotic or full plank
Granite - unless exotic, rare
Quartz - also depends on brand, Silestone 30% above most
Corian
Stainless, Concrete and Glass at the top

You can get black granite fairly cheaply these day from companies with names such as graniteRus and granite2U.
Wood looks nicer and can be more expensive. But only choose it if you just want to look at your kitchen rather than use it.
