Interior suggestions

Not sure if is this right place to post but I am looking for some suggestions for my living room. The flooring cannot be changed but the walls can be painted.

Just looking for some ideas in terms of what colour sofas, furniture and rugs would go with this room. I am terrible and do not have any vision at all!

Any suggestions I will be very grateful!

With a blank canvas like that you could do pretty much anything. What sort of style do you like? Modern? Traditional? Cosy? Minimalist? What are your favourite colours?

I would suggest you look on a site such as Houzz and see what grabs you. Otherwise you could end up with suggestions that make the room look great, but which you hate as it is not at all to your taste.

I like modern. I always wanted a grey frontroom but I don't think it matches with the floor? I also like all cream.
The room is quite small also.

This is the kind of sofa I want but not sure it goes with the floor. I have no creativity at all!
