Two pendants or three?

Island 2m x 1m. Would three look cluttered? Two not enough? This pendant in black:

Two if big, three if little...

Each one is 25cm x 30cm. Medium??!

3 of things always looks better than 2 of things, but might be a bit cluttered. Can you get DH or someone to hold up plates a similar size to the lights and see if it would look cluttered?

I think 3. It looks more "balanced" somehow.
