HardiePlank Cladding (or similar)

Hi,

Has anyone got this? Any pro's/con's? What colour did you go for?

We're looking at part cladding/part render when we have our loft converted next year (dormers and side cladding). I like the Boothbay Blue and DH likes Light Mist but can't work out if in 'real life' this would just look grey?

We used Hardie board in the US on our chimney, it had rotted wood siding on it, so we replaced it with Hardie board, it came ready to paint and was a light grey colour so we just matched it to the siding on the house. Blue sounds nice.
Dh said it was tough stuff and heavier than the wood that had been up there.
