DIY-kitchens drawer space.

I know that several MNers have bought from diy kitchens.

Please could someone be kind enough to measure the inner usable storage space HxWxD of the various size of drawers. The drawer fronts are available in 139mm, 175mm, 283mm and 355mm height. I am trying to work out what I could potentially store in them. I assume the top drawer of a stack will lose an extra bit of space due to the rail across the top of the carcass.

Are these the wide drawers?

All of them tbh. They do pan drawers and multi drawer units. If I can get hold of the inner measurements then I can work out which units would be best for my needs. For example, I quite fancy keeping mugs in a drawer rather than a wall unit.

We had pan drawers (2 deep). Have taken them out at the mo so can't measure them, but they were very deep (not much help). Know we had all our condiments in one, so full size / height olive oil bottle (standing up) etc, all our wine glasses were in another (standing up) and pint glasses etc. Mugs / coffee (e.g. large jar of Nescafe) in another.

I have pan drawers so will measure later. I have two sets of the three drawers so one 900mm wide cutlery one at top then two deeper ones.

I am sorry to be refreshing my own old thread, but as there are now even more owners of diy kitchens I am hoping someone may be kind enough to share their inner drawer measurements.

Hoping to start planning my new kitchen soon and really want to get this right.

Have you tried submitting a query to DIY kitchens to ask them? We have sent about 10 different questions over the past few weeks and had useful answers back.

I love my (one year old) DIY kitchen, especially the pan drawers!

We decided to not get a ‘stack’ of drawers and went for cupboards with a drawer on top, and the deep pan drawers.

I also like keeping mugs in drawers but none of the drawers available would have been space-efficient so I bought metal drawer inserts and screwed them in myself (a bit fiddly but the perfect result). I used www.kitchenfittingsdirect.com

GladitsFfriday I tried three times asking for the info from diy but each time the replies either did not give all the info I asked for or misunderstood what I was asking and just repeated what they had previously said. In the end I gave up and hoped someone here might be able to help.

If anyone else here is willing to help I am still looking for the sizes of the four and five drawer cabinets.
