Help with heated towel rail please?

It's not been working for a while - no heat at all. I went to bleed it today, can only find one bit that looks like the valve - on the top. Opened it, a pathetic little wisp of air canme out, then nothing. Did it back up, put heating on, nothing. Do I need a plumber?

Mine needs bleeding regularly, the top half is always cold, apparently because it's the highest point in the heating system, so any air bubbles migrate there eventually.

Have you checked the boiler pressure? With mine you have to bleed it a bit then top up the boiler pressure, then bleed it a bit more.

I topped up the boiler pressure afterwards, I'll have another go at bleeding it. Thanks.
