We are hoping to view a property this week on Soper Grove, South View, Basingstoke. Its a fixer-upper but has loads of potential. We are completely new to Basingstoke and will be relocating. We have visited quite a few times now and are happy to be based in the town. Questions would be 1)what is this particular part of town like for a family? and 2) having found an old thread (2011) about Basingstoke primaries a few were mentioned unfavourably and some of these happen to be quite close to this house. South view, Merton and Kings Furlong (junior school). Oakridge is also quite close as is Fairfields but haven't seen any negative comments on these .... Any local knowledge would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
