How come when Phil or Kirsty phone the EA with a offer, they get a call back with the answer within about 90 seconds, yet I put my offer in Monday 9am, and didn't get an answer until 4.55pm today?

They're mugs who always offer more than the vendor is expecting so they bite their arm off?

I felt a bit sorry for the couple last night, they probably would have paid the asking price but Phil put his foot down!

Lol, the power of television? I had the same situation, put an offer in and waited 4 days to hear back...which I'm half convinced was just the EA trying to angst me into calling with a higher offer 😄

I've been told that generally the house is already baught when they do those TV shows. In North America it is easy to spot, they almost always buy the empty house. It's been vacated by previous owners already. Don't know if they do more staging in the UK.
