Chimney breast in GFF kitchen

I spoke to a builder this morning about having it removed to create an it more space in our kitchen - as we are a GFF it sounds like we will have to have a lowered box in our ceiling to accommodate the support beams?

I was hoping to create a bit more space by having it removed, any ideas how I can cleverly layout my kitchen since we can't remove the chimney breast? The door is on the left of the kitchen, where the chimney breast is so I think changing it to accomodate tree oven and hob might look strange...

Sometimes it's easier to blank off the chimney by brining the rest of the wall out - depends on each case though - as space may be a premium ...
