Where to move? Commutable to north London

Looking for a 3 bed house or possibly garden flat, in good nick, max budget 450k, nothing too rural.

Need to be able to get into north London in 1 hour very max (driving).

I commute from North essex to enfield, 43 miles, takes about an hour (driving) Have a look along the M11 corridor there are some nice places such as Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford.
