No

ayeokthen · 25/09/2016 09:01

It's a bit out there but I like it.

ShouldHaveListenedInBiology · 25/09/2016 09:03

They don't really 'go' IMO - what other colours have you got going on in room?

surferjet · 25/09/2016 09:04

Main walls are your basic creamy colour.

They are the wrong shades

Tone down the purple and look at more minty greens -

lilybetsy · 25/09/2016 09:05

No

notagiraffe · 25/09/2016 09:06

Yes, they go. They appear in nature together all the time.

Meadows76 · 25/09/2016 09:07

Yes

duskonthelawn · 25/09/2016 09:07

If I put them together at all I think I'd do white/cream walls, wood floor with a cream and real rug, teal curtains and purple cushions/ornaments.

CurlsLDN · 25/09/2016 09:07

Woah, that's bold. To my eyes, no they clash horribly

SleepFreeZone · 25/09/2016 09:07

I'm really not keen on bright feature walls. For that reason I vote no

duskonthelawn · 25/09/2016 09:07

*teal

dangerrabbit · 25/09/2016 09:08

Too strong

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 25/09/2016 09:08

If you designed the whole room just in these colours then it would be too overwheming and I'd need 😎.

If, however, the walls and carpet are neutral (white or cream) and these colours are highlights, then yes, I think it would work and look lovely.

OldLagNewName · 25/09/2016 09:09

Not on my screen -may look better in real life. I think a redder purple might look good. Or, as others have said, a minty-er green (although I don't myself like that combination)

Toomanycats99 · 25/09/2016 09:10

My daughters room is turquoise and hot pink - that looks lovely together although I guess maybe not right for a living room.....

daisywhoopsie · 25/09/2016 09:11

I'm awful with stuff like this so I have no useful input other than to say you're a poet and you don't know it.

user1471549018 · 25/09/2016 09:13

They do 'go'. Search purple and teal on pinterest there are loads of examples. Not personally my style, but if you like it go for it.

I really like the colours but it depends what you do with them.

this is lovely for example

Tubbyinthehottub · 25/09/2016 09:41

I think they look nice together

Gatekeeper · 25/09/2016 11:21

No, wrong shades of purple and green. Those ones there look very cold and hard. If you do fancy those colours though a more olive green and royal purple would work better

Joinourclub · 25/09/2016 11:56

I think they go, they both seem bold jewel colours. As they are quite bold they won't be to everyone's taste so some people will automatically go 'eruch no'.
