Change stairs before selling?

We moved last year but couldn't sell our house so had to rent it. Our tenant is now planning to leave and we are deciding whether to rent or sell it. Having read some threads on here about spiral staircases I am wondering whether we would be better getting rid of ours.
It's a very sturdy staircase and we (including young children) never had any issues but I'm wondering if it maybe put a lot of people off previously and that's part of why it didn't sell. Would it be crazy to change to a more normal staircase given the likely expense of this? Or would it be worth it in terms of more people considering it?
Any thoughts would be appreciated

I'd make a big show of the stairs. They are special. Market your house accordingly.

People looking for a magnolia box won't buy your house but someone looking for something a bit special will fall in love with it.

Get those stairs on the photos looking as fancy pants as possible. You will get fewer viewings. But the people who do view be ones who are genuinely interested in a house with character. You only need one buyer.

I have bought and sold quirky houses, including one with a spiral staircase. The spiral staircase house sold at a premium, bought by people who loved having something a bit different.
