Have you had a new roof?

I'm in central Scotland, detached converted bungalow - just wondering if anyone has a general steer in how much to expect it to cost?

There is a site called Quotation check com which has some very handy
info regarding roofs in general as well as ballpark figures.
If you do not need scaffolding/or just a little then it should not be too bad

We had a new roof on our victorian terrace. We had quotes from £4,000 to £13,000. I think the £13,000 one was mainly interested in signing us up for credit though.
