RSJ not level! Please Help

So I've recently done a knock through between living room and dining room, Victorian terrace and it's all bee plastered up. It has become apparent that the RSJ is not level in that one side of the opening is higher. The difference is 20mm and it's more apparent in the living room than dining room.

Builder coming on Monday to check but not sure how this can be remedied... Any ideas?

TIA

You need to find out whether it's the RSJ which is out or the plaster boarding, etc. Did you have a structural engineer do the calcs for the steel? If so, give them a call and ask what the potential issues might be of the steel not being level.

Hey thanks for the reply Wowfudge
I did use structural engineer and had building control sign off the work. Seems as though it is the ceilings and coving being out/not level according to the architect/builder...
Hopefully it will be less noticeable when decorated.
