Neighbours leaking pipe causing a river in our garden

Our next door neighbours water supply pipe runs under the end of our garden, it's sprung quite a big leak which is causing a small river to run down our drive & pool around the house. Neighbour was made aware of this leek yesterday morning by the water company & said he would ring his insurance company to sort it but Hes not very reliable at sorting problems & is likely to ignore the leak as its not on his property. It has got worse since yesterday but no one has been out to it. Is there anything I can legally do? How long do I have before the water causes damage to the foundations of my house.

Contact your insurance company to express concern. They will likely contact your neighbour/ their insurers as any damage to your property they will claim of your neighbours insurance company.

I'd also ring the water board
