Best area to live in Guildford

Can anyone advise me on the best areas or streets to live in GU1 or 2 , especially with regards to secondary schools.

Which secondary schools are you interested in as some have stricter catchments?

I am looking at: George Abbott, Christ's College, Kings College and Guildford County. I need to live in the kind of area that gives us the best chance for placement but also one that is safe, clean and civilized....
Any advise would be appreciated

The streets around Guildford County are nice. Near the station too if you need that. The catchment is small. George Abbott catchment is also a good area, again close to the school. Depends on your budget. Prices are high in some streets?
