I just got ths for my cottage and it's beautiful. Obviously very much a cottagey look though

Really happy with qualityslatesigns.co.uk/products/main.html

Our numerals are carved in then filled with a white enamel thing. Not just laser printed onto the skate.

Delabole in Cornwall quarry slate; I think they also make slate signs. Very high quality slate, too.

thanks, I'll start with those sites. I think we want the engraved and painted type on a smooth honed surface

I got a lovely one from eBay a few years ago.

We bought our sign from this company. It's beautiful and the service was very prompt and efficient. I would certainly recommend them - it's a small Cornish company

Following with interest, our house is continually mistaken for two others that have the same number, but our road changes name twice! An historic village legacy.
