Yesterday i noticed a werid smell in one of the kitchen cupboards couldn't pin point what it was but worried me as the gas meter was in the next cupboard and the pipes lead into said cupboard that smelled.
I phoned up the emergency gas number who came out and confirmed my suspicions that it was a leak being that a very small one he capped the gas now left without heating and hot water
What happens now?
My flat is with a housing association who i have phoned and sent someone round to check it but as the meter and pipes are in the cupboards he thinks they will need to be removed in order to fix the pipe that connects to the meter and will my gas supplier do anything to fix it
