Painting house while pregnant!

I'm moving house next week and expecting a baby mid October. I'm trying to find a painter/ decorator to come and paint the house ASAP but they are quite booked up. I'm concerned about the safety of this for me and the baby but have heard of water based solvent free paints that might be fine? Has anyone used them and would it be fine to decorate a month before baby due date? Many rooms throughout the house need decorating including the one where the baby will sleep with me.

here's what the NHS says:

you can get 'naturepaint' which is based on milk - have used it because it is very breatheable on an old wall. The finish is fragile and the place smells of sour milk until it dries. There are other water-based paints but they will cost a fair bit.

Sorry but I can't quite work out what you think might be unsafe about this. Nearly all paints are water-based ultra low VOC nowadays. You can specify to the decorator not to use solvent based anywhere if you like. You will have been exposed to far worse during your pregnancy already unless you live in some sort of hermetically sealed box normally. Try and relax and grab yourself a couple of paint charts, they always cheer me up!

Thank you. I was not aware they were standard. That is why I asked.
