Washing Machine - 6KG. Any good?

Can a super kingsize duvet cover it into a 6kg washing machine OK? I've only ever had 8kg machines and whilst I don't have loads of washing (just two of us) I want to make sure I can do the linen OK. Benefit of the 6kg is that it's slimmer so I can shove it in a cupboard. If anyone has had a 6kg and regretted it, be good to hear. TIA

Mine does. Not on it's own either. You do mean the cover, not the whole quilt?

Ours does too x

I used to easily get 2 double sheets and 4 pillowcases in my old 6 kg machine so I imagine so

Hold 6 bags of sugar in 1 hand ( 6kg) hold duvet in other. What do you think?

It won't be weight that is an issue, but volume

Thanks, yes, I mean the cover, not the actual duvet itself - Athenia as carol pointed out, it's the volume rather than the weight I was concerned about as obviously I can guesstimate the weight of a load of laundry. Good news - I shall purchase the smaller one - thanks for the very helpful replies.
