Do I need to tell landlord?

Not sure if this is the right place or not. I have been renting a flat for the last 2years through an estate agent. Anyway we are now expecting our second child. Do I need to inform the landlord/estate agent?

No.

No. Over 18s need to go on the tenancy agreement. So no rush!

The only issue would be if you were living somewhere that didn't allow kids. As you already have one that seems unlikely to apply.

Legally no, but I appeciate it on the ocassions that I have been told. You will know the relationship you have with your ll, how long youve been living there, the sort of tenant you are etc etc.

When I had our LO, we were renting through an agent.

It never crossed my mind to formally let them or the landlord know. we never had any contact with the landlord as it was all managed via the agent.

Unless it changes something in your contract or agreement, I would say that there is absolutely no reason to inform them.

Not unless they specified "no children"

Not unless your contract forbids children.
