Combi boiler?

Anyone able to give rough estimate of how much to have one installed (smallish 3 bed house, if that's relevant) and remove hot water tank etc. Also, are there any negatives to having them?

We got a new combi boiler put in last year for just under £2000. However we were replacing like for like, so the cost was lower. We also had quotes up to £3000.

Lweji it is if you have been in the bath for a while and think it needs warming up a bit ....you actually make it colder before it gets warmer...

Conversely, my experience with a water tank is that after mixing with the cold water it comes out warm, or it takes some time to heat up properly.

With my boiler, I start the sink first, then open the bath. It comes out nice and warm. :)
