Do I have to declare? They are not having a survey??!! I am single parent struggling, they have couple of other properties... I know that probably doesn't matter but it does to me ie. can't afford any problems

Can you pour some Zoflora and hot water down them?

Yep what another said...

I've put drain unblocker down them, but its outside that it smells and part of the garden (a bit which is quite hidden) is very wet so I think it must be leaking out there somewhere. I think it could be roots in the drains as thats what next door had :( I think they are foolish not to have a survey, but equally I feel that I should probably say something... that could result in me losing my sale and was on the market for 9 months - just don't know what to do

The vendor's solicitor's Q will probably ask something like "please confirm if the vendors have experienced any difficulties regarding the drains and sewers serving their property"

So up to you and your ethics to decide how you answer that
