Any experiences with automatic velux Windows?

We have a loft conversion (done years before we bought our bungalow). It's waaay too hot up there in the tiniest bit of heat.

Our velux Windows need replaced anyway so are thinking about the automatic ones. I believe you can programme them to open and close throughout the day as well as close in the rain.

Any experience of cost and whether they are worth it? Particularly interested in the solar powered ones.

Id be interested to hear people's verdicts also....we have a bathroom with a velux that is far too high for even a pole to reach! Would love to get it replaced with an electric / automatic one! Smile

Yes we had them. Fantastic. Closed automatically at rain and easy to operate. No idea of cost.

We've got both types, electric and solar and they are brilliant. Worth the money

Just asked husband where we got them from and its Sterlingbuild. Said they were the best for price and delivery. They were really helpful in making sure we got everything we needed

We have one in our study. It's fab.

We have one in the kitchen extension bit. It's great, closes when it rains.
