My other half and I are currently discussing whether to go for manual or solar powered blinds in our kitchen extension.
He wants to get solar powered ones that would cost £190 each and I want to get manual ones at £60 each.
The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling and the windows are, with my arm extended, 3ft (90cm) away. The size of the window is 134cm wide x 94cm high.
My husband believes we wouldn't use the blinds that often if we had to keep getting the pole out.
Does anyone have any views on whether solar powered blinds are any good and are they worth spending an extra £130 each, we need two?
