Enclosure for swingball

We have a small garden that has to double as a football pitch and home for swingball. Unfortunately it can't cope with taking the swingball in and out of the ground. Someone suggested getting a permanent enclosure embedded in the ground that you could just slot the swingball in and out of.

Has anyone got any idea where one could buy such a thing?

One of the things for putting a rotary washing line in might do the job.

You can get one with a weighted base you fill with water- still takes a lot of hammering.

They don't seem to be flat to the ground which might be a bit dangerous for football though. Hmm...

How about a parasol base like you those big white ones you see in beer gardens? You can fill them with water or sand and they're portable so you're not tied to one spot in the garden.

Swingball In the base that you fill is on offer in toys r us at the moment.

Looking at www.amazon.co.uk/SCREW-GROUND-ROTARY-WASHING-PARASOL/dp/B007AT8B9Q I see the question

"Is it flush to the ground?"

was answered with

"No. [..] if you need a permanent hole for your washing line then either get a hammer in or concrete in tube."

It's the same thing, just not a screw one. We have ours concreted flush so that you can cut the grass right over it. They are the cheapest sort. Even b&q or the like should have one.

We got a mooki one that came with a water-filled base. Hasn't been an issue.

But with the Base, the OP would still have to move it when they are playing football or its still a tripping hazard. That's what I took from the post anyway.

Thank you everyone. I know my options now. I will go down to B & Q and take a look what they have that goes flush with the lawn and otherwise get a swingball with a base.
