Currently building and we are meeting with the plumber next week to discuss bathroom fittings.
Our rented flat has frankly disgusting plastic shower trays that were once white and are now creamy stainy rank. I hate them. Deeply.
But what are "good" shower trays? Are they ceramic? Stone? Can we get something tiled? I'd like something of good quality that I can keep clean as a whistle without too much effort (i.e periodically pour product over and swish around vaguely) and that won't crack or leak (obviously).
Also DH wants the shower room off the utility to be a wet room with a glass panel to designate the shower area. But they give me the heebee-jeebies due to visions of caravanning with the toilet getting sprayed by the shower and the floor being wet-of-unidentified-origin. But can they work well?
Any advice gratefully received!
