We are thinking about reorganising our downstairs loo and a bit of the kitchen to get a utility room in. I would really appreciate it if you could share with me the approx measurements of your utility rooms & what you consider to be "must haves" in a utility (& and other advice!)? Thank you!

Ours is t-shape. It's about About 2m wide by 3m long in the body of the "T" and then another 1.5 long by 4m wide at the top of the "T" if that makes any sense.

It means I can have a large clothes after open at the end which is great.

There are cupboards and work top on one side with the washing machine and then shelves and pegs on the opposite wall.

I have plenty of baskets for unwashed/washed not ironed/washed and ironed clothes.

It's pretty big so doesn't have to be too organised, but if space was a premium I think I'd have and overhead drying rack.
