Talk to me about kitchen splash backs...

What do you have? Any advice, suggestions, experiences I should know?

I was thinking of a glass splash back but am now thinking tiles. Does anyone have a tiled splash back in a herringbone design?

Thanks!

I'm a huge fan of glass splash backs - no grout to keep clean!

We tiled begind the hob and adjoining walls with cream metro tiles.

That looks great Iggity.

Whois I thought the glass might be harder to keep clean, keeping it smear free, non?

This is interesting. Was considering glass precisely to keep grout clean.

Another vote for glass love it

Glass. It's a dream to keep clean as well. Quick wipe with windowlene and its showroom worthy. Mine is a silvery grey on top of stainless steel. I like to pretend I'm Rachel Allen or one of her ilk.

I bet it lovely Helena! I'm looking for a grey one too

Glass all day long, I now have it everywhere. Shower & kitchen! Best decision I've ever made!

Thanks all. I've fallen in love with some tiles so I hope I don't regret it!

TBH our cleaner cleans it 1x week and it keeps nice enough from that.
