Building built in wardrobe with plasterboard

I want to build some wardrobes that are fully built in using plasterboard to create the shape. Do I also need to get this plastered?

Dh plastered and painted ours, so it looks like the wall of the bedroom.
It looks like this only with one mirror door.

Yes you should get it plastered, not a big job so shouldn't be £££

This is how we did ours and we were so pleased with the result. Plastering is minimal .
