Where should the fence go?

Neighbours extention has been built right up to the boundary so it meets ours. There's is bigger though so comes out further than ours. The boundary fence is there's so where should it go?
Currently the posts are over
our side and one is attached to the front of our extention. Is this right? I think it should be moved and go in a straight line from their extention. I want to be sure before I speak to them.

Whose responsibility is it?

It's their fence.

Posts should be within their land and the fence front your boundary at most.

Great that's what I thought. I'm going to ask them to move it then when they replace the fence.
