Preparing floor for Polyflor or similar to be laid

Hi I was wondering if anyone could advise how we need to do this. Currently kitchen floor tiles seem to be laid on top of old kitchen floor tiles (can't be sure without destroying existing floor). I think these are laid directly onto the floorboards.

What is the best way to get all this up so we can prep for the polyflor? And what type of prep is needed?

Thanks in advance.

Speak to whoever is laying it for you, but on floorboards I think it's 6mm marine ply which has to be screwed down something like every four inches. The floor layers will then put a screed down which conceals the joins in the ply and where the screws are.

Thanks wow. Any idea how best to get the tiles up?

Sorry no, but have a look on YouTube. There's bound to be something helpful on there.
