I just took down the voile curtains in the living room to wash them and love how bright the room is without them. I hate the voile any way, but not sure what to do instead. The view isn't awful (standard London residential street), and while not massively busy, there is foot traffic and I don't like that passers by can look right in. I've rejected shutters because they block out too much light and I feel they shrink the room a bit.
Any ideas?
