Bees in bathroom.

This week I've discovered 7 bees upstairs. Windows have been shut most of the time so dont tHinksey they hAve flown in th rough window. Can't work out where they are coming from. What should I do? Tia.

Definitely bees and not wasps? Could be a nest in the eaves/roof space/attic.

I had a wasp nest in our last rental. They'd come through the shower light gap, scary! They eventually all died off or flew away but we had loads. The good thing is that if its wasps then they never come back to the same place/nest. For bees you need someone to take the queen away ( I think).

We had a wasps nest in the vent thing for the shower (to let air escape outside). Dp went up a ladder covered in netting and sprayed some form of wasp killer in the vent. All fine, although getting professionals in might have been more advisable

I also had a wasp nest under a garden years ago and called an expert. I think he said they couldn't do anything for bees apart from hire a beekeeper, but I was full of PND and hormones so maybe didn't listen well.

Possibly hibernating in your extractor fan? They come in via the airbrick

We were told to ring the local bee keeper for advice when we had bees coming down the chimney and out f t air brick under the house. The council pest control people gave me his number. In our case the keepers advice was that their behavior was that of harmless masonry bees, and to leave them alone. We did! They went away soon .

Thanks everyone. They are definitely bees. Most of them look a bit tired/ I'll. They aren't moving normally. They sort of look like they are coming round from a big sleep. Some were hardly moving. I just put them outside. They are quite big.

on here you'll get flamed for not letting them use the bathroom!!
