Ceiling extractor fan recommendations?

Can anyone recommend an extractor fan for a kitchen which fits flat against the ceiling and all the motor/fan stuff fits between the joists in the ceiling?

Someone on MN recommended this one by Luxair, but annoyingly the motor/fan stuff is just a bit too wide to fit between our joists. Can anyone can recommend something similar?

you can have the duct in the ceiling and the fan on the outside of the house if you want.

Or I should think a 150mm inline fan would fit.

View the air throughput in cu.m/hr and the noise in db of whatever options you are looking at. The fan may be heard in the room above.

p.s.

I like Elica but their web page is terribly difficult to navigate and select a product. If you agree, email them, say so, and request they post you the glossy brochure.

I don't know why they chose to spend a lot of money on a web designer who wanted to show off complexity of design.

Have a look at Westin. They have one that has a smaller motor that should fit between the joists. I think it's the Stratus Compact.

Thank you, I'll have a look at all of those.
