I knew that my great aunt Mary Adeline Jenkinson spent decades of her life in a mental asylym but found out only recently that she was in Stone House Hospital in Dartford. She died aged around 94 in 1978. She wasn't much mentioned and there are few traces of her amongst the family memorabilia. I would like to restore her place in the family by finding out more about her find out more about her and the life she lived in Stone House. If you know anyone who worked in Stone House in the 1970s who would be willing to share their memories, please could you let me know.
