East Finchley house buying help

Good afternoon mumsnetters,

Saw a house I like in East Finchley (in the HGS side). Higher than what I wanted to spend, but that doesn't matter.
The thing that concerns me is that there are several houses in the vicinity that are not selling. I am thinking it must be because of the proximity to the A1. But there could be other reasons I don't know.

If you know the area well, would you mind letting me know and I can send you the property details so that you could give me your opinion?

I am very stressed and I would really appreciate your help.

Can't help currently, but lived there in the 80s loved it, a great part of London. Job move meant we had to go! We have very fond memories, just like a village. Hope you get the house.
