No bath

I have recently bought a 4 bedroom terrace which only has 1 large bathroom and no other toilets
It's myself and 3 teenagers so definitely need another toilet.
The easier option would be to split the bathroom into 2 small shower rooms and lose the bath.cant remember the last time any of us had a bath!
This is our forever home so no plans to sell.
Do you think it's a big mistake to get rid of bath for when I sell in the future?
The only other obvious place for a toilet is in the understairs cupboard but that comes straight off the dining room
Any advice much appreciated

you said 'no plans to sell', although of course it will be sold one day, no such thing as a forever home.

fit out your house in the way that suits you. If future buyers want a bath, they can knock down the price a bit.

Do any of the bedrooms have space to get a small en suite into? Even if it was just a toilet and sink, rather than a shower as well?

Two showers plus toilets would be more useful to you than what you have, so go for it. You can never have too many loos.

We took the bath out of our main bathroom and haven't regretted it, although to be fair we do have baths in the property, they're just never used.

Do what suits you. If you have no plans to move, chances are by the time you sell the next people would want to refit the bathroom anyhow and could restore it easily enough if they wanted to.

We never use the bath either. We were going to pull out the one in the main bathroom and replace it with a nice big shower, but seeing we will probably sell in the next couple of years we are keeping it.
I have noticed houses with shower only seem to take longer to sell round here, we would look at and buy where there is no bath, no problem.
Make it how you want it.

With 4 of you in the house your idea is a good one. I'd don't care about having a bath in a house, I'd rather have more than one 'bath'room.

It would definitely put me off buying a house as I would have to cost in putting a bath in. However, I think that unless you know you will be selling within a couple of years, your house should be set up the way that is most comfortable for you to live in, not with thought to selling it.
