Bifold and integral blinds

We are looking into bifold doors and I like the idea of integral blinds. I am after some advice on colour as there is so much choice! If you have integral blinds which colour blind did you opt for?

The frame we like for the bifolds is a dark grey.

OOh I'm following as I asked a similar question a few days ago. Can I ask - are all of the integral blind options you've seen kind of venetian blinds inside, or have you found anything with a more solid bling (i.e. like a roller blind inside)?!

Venetian - Hopefully someone who has them will come and advise us!

What colour did you have in mind? I am rather confused! I was thinking silver or beige but the sample I have differs greatly from the online beige.

Can I be nosy and ask how much more the doors are with blind?

I think a neutral would be a good idea as you obviously can't change them as your colour scheme changes !

I recently got french doors and it cost an extra £500 with integral blinds

We had bifold doors installed in September with integral blinds. The blinds are the same colour as the door frames (which match the island) and they look incredible.
I wanted something for privacy and to have external window covering would be in the way and not look right. I love the fact I can lift the blinds or just angle then.

They were an eye watering £350 per door extra! I don’t regret though as we have a road at bottom of garden and passengers on top deck could look right in and I can shut them out and make house seem cosier.

We’ve got 4 different configurations of bifold doors and glass doors (this is our kitchen front door) all with integrated blinds. It’s possible to have them in windows too (who knew?). Ours are oak frames with cream blinds. Bloody fantastic invention in my mind. No more cleaning dusty blinds.

@namechangedtoday - what do you mean by a more solid blind? Is it in case someone can see in for for aesthetic reasons? When my blinds are open you can still see through the glass (like the picture from @Quit) but when they are closed they fill the glass with no gaps. Difficult to explain! The great thing about this is you have three options. 1. Fully pulled up with bare glass showing. 2. Pulled down but open. 3. Pulled down but closed. The only thing i would say is if you want to close them every night with a roller blind type option (if such a thing exists) you have only two options, but with a venetian blind you can pull them down permanently and just open and close as you wish.
